Hey! White Castle's is in New Jersey!I looked them up when I first moved out to New England and was a bit disappointed that the nearest one was in New Jersey. I had since forgotten about it. Then I remembered after I got there. Durnit, I should have looked them up prior to my drive. Luckily I had MissyShow on the phone and she overcame her fears, phobias, and anxieties enough to go to her computer and look up directions for me. She rocked and found one less than 10 miles away. Oh my, it was 8pm and BSG came on at night. I high tailed it over and made it back in time to catch my show. (I know, nerd!)
So at long last. After 20 years I finally make it back to a bona fide White Castle restaurant to enjoy some freshly cooked sliders. Mmmmmm....
Shame the onion rings sucked. Didn't run into any pot sellers nor Neil Patrick Harris either.

back when wifey was going to school in philly, pa. i made her stop her car in a VERY suspect neighborhood, just because they had a white castle. The whole restaurant was partioned in plexiglass, but what did i care about risking life, limb and car . . . it was an honest to goodness white castle!!!! i'd be damned if i let this opportunity pass me by.
needless to say, wifey couldn't see what the whole fuss was about. myself . . . i was as happy as a little girl. oh the memory. we're stuck with those microwave jobbies here in cali. the real ones are at least 3 times as good.
Oh yeah, how could I forget White Castle burgers. I had my first one somewhere in the midwest; I think it was Missouri when I was there visiting a friend. There so small and good that no one can eat just one.
Can't say I've ever had an honest-to-goodness White Castle burger. The microwave kind don't count. I have had a Tommy Burger before tho.
Tommy Burgers are goooood! They kind of just recently opened a chain in S.D. There chili cheese dogs and fries are also to die for.
@burte... I'll go if you go.
@hotfudge... Actually I think I had my first White Castle in the midwest too. In St. Louis.
